O.K. most of us (not you Frenchie) are just average Joe Six Packs. Most of us have no real power or influence to do anything about the corruption in Montgomery or on the BOT. So what can we do? We can do the one thing that they don't want us to do. SUPPORT UAB FOOTBALL! We should all wear our UAB shirts and fly our UAB flags every chance we get throughout all of 2007. I work with a bunch of Aubies and they are always wearing that ugly orange crap. We should decorate our offices, wear a UAB shirt or go buy one of those nice UAB lapel pins and wear it on our jacket. The other thing we can do is DOUBLE our prior contribution. IF you bought two tickets last year, buy FOUR this year! Write the sound off and call the radio shows and tell everyone that we support UAB and we are here to stay. We don't care what the BOT does to us, we don't care how many times they kick us in the head. We AIN'T GOING ANYWHERE! Show your support. These are the times that test men's souls. Steel your resolve and show your UAB PRIDE! NOW when it is tough more than ever.

Tell them Adama! We need to support UAB totally but we still must fight to FREE UAB!! We will never be very successful until we break free from the BOT.

what were they supposed to do? break off in the middle of the speech and scream at the top of their lungs "THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES MADE US DO IT"? right, way to embarass us further and make a bad situation worse.
Frenchy - you need to look at the post that highlights what has gone on while Dr. G has been our president.
We have on campus housing that seemed like would never occur while I was there. Our incoming freshman scores are gaining on the UAT scores, and we were at one point a helluva long way behind them.
I am not happy about how this went down, but I am far from ready to throw Garrison and Margison under the bus for this fiasco.
I love your passion for the school, but move on with the rest of us on this one and leave our guys out of it!
