"Nightmare"? Why? ZSU will catch forum board grief over this, and life will go on. They've already got the kid from VA pushing that story aside.
Yea it would take something near the NCAA death penalty in scale for it to truly scare Ohio State. Other than that they know nothing is going to change their spot in Ohio and they know the residents will forgive almost anything especially if it gives them wins.
In all fairness, he was never and will never be a Buckeye. Simply someone they had previously offered a scholarship, prior to this.

Now, if we want to go down that road, we all know of plenty of guys who ended up in the MAC with some criminal "history".

That is true, and I hear he is likely signing with the Miami Hurricanes. I guess they arrested attracted them to him.
I believe the charges have been dropped and he will be signing with OSU.

Does this surprise anyone ? 05-stirthepot
What? That many on this board from Ohio and Michigan talk about OSU more than their own MAC teams? No, it doesn't surprise me. 05-stirthepot

"Schlichter has served time in 44 prisons or jails since 1994." 04-jawdrop What went wrong in his life after OSU? I mean something must have happened. Anybody follow his story after OSU? Don't know anything about him but something obviously went terribly wrong. It is kind of sad actually.

Actually, his problems started while at Ohio State. He was a regular at Beulah Park and Scioto Downs.

It really is a shame. He had so much talent but he bought into his own press clippings and his ego wouldn't let him see things realistically.

His father committed suicide, they lost the family farm. He has no relationship with his own daughters. And every time someone gives him a chance, he goes back to stealing and gambling.

He spends a lot of time in the Spin Room, where the neocons and teabaggers spend a lot of time giving him negative rep points.

And in all fairness, the quote below is the reason why.

"It seems highly unlikely that, after the events of the past 24 hours, the three-star player"
