BGSU????????
Seems to be a lack of future Falcons on the Big 33 roster.
Go Rockets!

Wow, 6 players. That has to be close to a record!

What's the status of Joplin at BG? He looked like a helluva talent when he played in one of the all-star games - but did bad grades kill his future? He should have been a RS freshman last year if my memory is correct. Wasn't 2008 season his senior year at Sylvania, 2009 the redshirt, and then eligible to play in 2010?

I heard a BGSUcks coach saying that they do everything they can to keep him eligible. And that at practice, there are times he looks like an all-american, then other times he looks like a lost walk-on.

Coach said today there are 7 players in the Big 33 game, and 7 in the Ohio North-South All-Star game. This is a VERY talented class.

Joplin should have taken a HJ scholie somewhere. The two local guys who were better have:
Taken second in the NCAA Outdoor (Ryan Fleck from NApolean and Auburn)
Jumped 7'6" for a new Kansas State record and a number two national ranking (Kynard from Rogers)
Joplin may not have reached those heights but he would have been more than a struggling walk-on at a 2-10 football school.

....and could have performed in front of more fans - not to mention more enthusiastic fans.
