Did the game in Oxford just get a tad easier for foes of Miami?

Sounds like somebody got a bit carried away. Sad for the MU kid to end his career like this.
Sorry to hear about Ballard's injury. You hate to see a Senior have his career end that way. As far as it being easier to defeat Miami, I hardly think so. Ballard's loss will hurt Miami but I still don't think it will help us that much on Saturday. Miami is a tough venue to play in and we have not shown enough toughness on the road to win games like this. I went to the Toledo game and watched us struggle against the Rockets. That game resulted in the practice with the football equipment. Let's hope I am wrong and lessons learned provide a different result!

EZ and his crew of JC misfits are a dangerous bunch. Dangerous in that if they're going to commit a hard foul they'll put a hurt on you at the same time.

One of EZ's players quit over the weekend after EZ went off on him on the bus back from the EMU loss. The quote I'm reading is.................

Quote:2 hours of continuous beratement of Rashid & McCure from EZ....on the bus ride home after the Eastern loss....You Worthless M*TH*R F*CK*N' Curious George Lookin' piece of SH*T"......

Good thing EZ's last name isn't Dombrot.

That's awesome stuff!
Quote:Along with a loss to Miami, the Central Michigan men’s basketball team also lost a senior from the roster on Thursday.

Senior point guard Amir Rashid opted to leave the program with just two months left in the season, citing personal reasons as the cause of his departure.

Ball St. and CMU both lost last night! Sweet!

NIU was the only MAC- West team to win
This will be a real test of Hawk vs. Charlie. Charlie with a vastly depleted cast, vs Hawk with his regulars. Watch Charlie find some walk on scrub off the bench who drops 25 on us.

No bet.
In the same thread, Miami poster Mollaut gave a bit more info on Miami.

Quote:=>Miami's starting point guard, Quentin Rollins, was injured in the shoot around before the CMU game. He is out at least 4 weeks.

Despite the win, it was Black Thursday for Miami basketball.

I'm thinking that going into Oxford will be like confronting a wounded, cornered animal. Led by a shrewd coach like Charlie, I just have this sneaking suspicion that they will play lights out.

And I picked them over on the MAC board. I don't think the NIU guys were even picking their team to win.
If he has guys who haven't been playing as much, you KNOW they're going to execute Charlie Ball like we've never seen it executed.
