I now am in 100% support of a billboard near the UAB campus denouncing the hire of Callaway as UAB coach. Make sure that it mentions how much the BOT sucks as well

I was against the idea in the first place because I thought it would embarrass UAB. Well I don't think UAB can be anymore embarrassed than having that cheating loser as a coach.

500 FROM ME WITH MY TAG ON THE BILLBOARD
I will contribute.
$ 50.00 pledged by me as well.
What do we do?
How do we pro-test?
Do we show up across from Bartow in the Grocery Store parking lot with signs at 2pm after church?
Do we form an action group?
Do we get gov. leaders involved?
Do we walk away?
Leave Callaway out of this. He is just a pawn. Go wholly after the Board of Trustees. Put a website on the billboard if we wanna go more fully in-depth.
I'll give $50

Seriously

I agree. Callaway is just a pawn in this game. If things have really happened like they seem to have, directing the anger toward Callaway is what they want.

Put up a billboard mocking PBJ, calling attention to possible BoT violations, or hell go all out and call for secession.

Just dont put anything that might be libel, I would really hate for whoever puts the billboard to get sued by PBJ and make him even richer and more smug.
I'll Pledge $50.00 if you go after the BOT.
We need a website and a billboard attacking the BOT, not Callaway. Don't waste your money on that. First off, no one will care. Secondly, if they did care, they'd simply replace him with another pawn. Got to go to the root of the problem.

You have often referred to him as a cheater. I don't have the time to do the research but if you would provide some links where I could read about his cheating, please do. I heard that he was cleared from the allegations but I haven't really seen anything myself.

I am glad that most people have actually laid off of calling him a drunk. Now I would like to see some proof about these cheating allegations. Sorry, I haven't lived in Alabama in a long time and don't typically keep up with all of the cheating allegations within the SEC... there are just too many to bother with.

Thanks,
BTR
Callaway is a Blazer now. Please direct your anger and hatred at the true enemy: The BoT

Quote:"Alabama contested the allegations involving Carroll. Smiley's case was not mentioned in the response. Robbins has said the vehicle was bought by Smiley's mother.
The NCAA has accused Alabama of providing Carroll with a 1994 car in the summer of 1999, with the help of then-assistant coach Neil Callaway and without making a down payment or trade-in.
The dealer didn't repossess the vehicle until after Carroll transferred to Florida, according to the NCAA.
Alabama officials countered that the car, bought for $3,600, had 132,637 miles on it and the method of purchase was not extraordinary under the circumstances."

+100000... Your treating Calloway like he is WB and he hasn't even coached a game yet!
He's worse than Watson. He wasn't even hired by us. I don't care how many games he wins. He still is not OUR coach.

Callaway is a Blazer now. We can turn him into one of us, or turn him away and watch football fold. Which will it be?

Certainly you have more than this? Let me get this straight. A dealership sold a 6 year old car with 132,637 miles on it for $3600, it wasn't paid for, and was later repossessed. I have seen dealerships advertise no money down used cars for some time. Also, those types of dealerships make their money on the repos and reselling the same car a few dozen times.

If I am bribing kids or parents, I think I can come up with a better ride than that!

Guys, he is the coach at UAB. Focus your anger on the real enemy.
