The damage is already done. The primary job of the FED was to prevent the meltdown that occurred starting in 2008. It should have been given the boot at that point for it's monumental failure.

Walter is a good man...(as far as politicians are concerned) He lost his seat years ago due to redistricting and finally got back in a few years ago. I met him and was impressed with his views on government growth and waste back in the late 90's. He is as close to being a libertarian as one can get and be elected. Unfortunately he is taking a big risk of being marginalized by taking this stand. Cudos to Mr. Jones.
