It appears our starting lineup is pretty well set, and Thornton is at the 5. His numbers are not impressive at all, so I have to conclude that he is playing at least decent defense? Any observations from those of you who see the games?
He is probably our best option. It's probably pretty close between he and Bails. Gus got a few minutes last night, and one thing I see in him that the others don't seem to have is the ability to spot a shooter on the wing and quickly get the ball out to him. That is an asset with our talented perimeter shooters and should be exploited more. If Gus can play enough defense to get more minutes, he would definitely be suited to our offensive talent, since he will kick the ball back out for an open shot.
