cUSA!! cUSA!! cUSA!! 03-lmfao
While you were posting this, I was posting something along the same lines on their thread.

This was my post:
===========================================================================
I know this is a C-USA board, but you can't skip this one:

#10. C-USA boards - The MWC is gonna merge with us (because we're the distantly 2nd most likely conference to challenge for a BCS invite - even though we never actually challenged for one before), we'll hold a brand new type of two-conference championship that won't count as a bowl game (that the NCAA has never allowed before), and we'll force the BCS to invite our combined 22 team bloated merger's champion as an automatic qualifier (which there's no reason for them to do) and then we'll create a 6th BCS game (Cotton Bowl) to fit us in (which the BCS could do anytime they wanted - without us).

No offense intended to rational C-USA board discussions.

Hmm. I must've missed all those threads of MAC fans praying for Marshall to come back to the MAC for a third time. 03-phew

Probably my fault. You all know how I pine for the return of Marshall.
LOL, I'm sure the BCS is real giddy with enthusiasm to wanna give a conference who has gone 2-4 the last two bowl seasons an automatic BCS bid.

MWC has a pretty good image and some traction due to its success, but by associating itself with CUSA they will lose some of that. Good move for CUSA to try to ride their coattails though.

The MWC has won it's 4th Bowl Challenge Cup this year and depending on how the SEC does in it's final 3 bowl games, could end up the the best bowl winning percentage since the Cup began in the 02/03 bowl season. Why would they want to associate themselves with CUSA?

Agree.
Don't think MWC benefits at all, and therefore this whole buzz gets no traction.
Okay, I read it.

I don't understand.
