These numbers are accurate through the games on January 4, 2011. WKU is still in the lead overall, and still has the largest crowd of the year at 7300+. MTSU and UNT are in 2nd and 3rd respectively, and will likely be in a dogfight the rest of the year for 2nd place (and maybe 1st if WKU picks up a couple more losses and their fanbase overreacts...just kidding Western).
Denver is weird and does not use traditional semesters, so I just gave up on their winter holiday attendance.
THE BIGGEST NEWS of the week, is that Mike Jarvis and the FAU fighting owls are once again in last place, dropping below 1,000 fans per game with their 500+ crowd for Florida Memorial the other night. Enjoy!

Students arent back yet and in basketball they are the ones who help attendance.
No idea on how the crowd will be for Thursday games.

I'm going to post the new chart late tonight or tomorrow morning. ULM and FAU did not report attendances from Saturday (the FAU/USA game was on Thursday), so I suppose I will just leave their averages unchanged. Both of those schools will be getting a funny nickname in the report for this week though for not reporting their likely disappointing attendances.

Short of blizzards or other acts of God, WKU's attendance at home against Denver was the worst I've ever seen. A dismal 2,700. It will likely get worse until Ken McDonald is fired. The sooner we get rid of that loser, the sooner we can turn this ship around. I'm a disgruntled Hilltopper at the moment.
