It really pisses me off that the "Flagship Station" of ETSU athletics decided to leave the game in the second half to go to Orange Bowl coverage. You either are the flagship or you aren't. Bill Meade should get an earful about this.
And miss that ending???? Shades of Heidi!!

I'm convinced Bill Meade could care less about ETSU. Have you listened to his talk show? I know how to get him in the fold...
Now I'm hearing it was a problem on ETSU's end and not the Monsters. Will post more when I get the info.
I'm speculating but I don't think Jay has a producer with him. He's busy broadcasting and can easily be unaware of technical mess ups. They occur at an unacceptable rate...speculating again...but it can be something as basic as the microphone losing connection.

Dead air is death. Unless he gets an on site producer to make sure technical is ok...these problems are likely to continue. It could also be low budget equipment. This has been going on for years and it needs to stop.
Usually there are more problems on the road than at home. That's because you have to rely on another school's internet connection / isdn connection to get the feed back to JC.
The online feed was not working from etsubucs.com at one point when WXSM and WJCW had other programming on. When the stream came back via etsubucs.com, WXSM also had the Bucs back on. My assumption is that in an effort to prevent dead air WXSM and WJCW switched to alternate programming while the problems got sorted out and the feed returned.
OK, I'm glad they switched back...didn't realize that.
With the poor audio quality...I thought Jay was using a phone line.
