You can't make this up-we open MAC play at home against those base turds from Mt. Nowhere. Does it get any better than that.
I know they (CMU) may have looked bad at times in the OOC schedule, but they have played some tough teams and stayed close (LSU on road) and they have a tremendous talent in Trey Ziegler. And it is just CMU, they want to bury us.
The emergence of Stain, and Howard has really fired me up about this team. And the play of Flen, MD, and DWard has been steady and is the rock for this team. Hutch has at times been very good also.
How will WMU deal with Ziegler? Who will guard him? He is a 6-5 guard who can not only score, but pass, and rebound. I don't know much about the supporting cast, but I do know that if we play correctly we are a multi headed monster than can hurt the villains with any number of talented players. Offensively we are very difficult to defend because of this varied attack.
Defensively though is where our season will make or break. And I hope we shut off the inside and make teams beat us from beyond the arc, which Troy did-dammit!

I believe we can take out daddy's boy. Ward, Hutch, Howard, etc...we have the talent defensively to screw with him. HE IS NOT GOD'S GIFT TO MICHIGAN BASKETBALL. Arguably we already beat the daddy's boy who is more of god's gift. Ray Ray, Jr, (UDM).

let me just say that LSU is awful - lost to Nicholls State, Coastal Carolina, Wichita State, North Texas, and Rice.

Detroit had their way with the Chips on ESPNU. hopefully this will be an easy one for the broncos.
