morning and they were showing highlights of a Gonzaga game and John Stockton and family were in the stands watching his son play for Gonzaga. The kid made a long shot at the buzzer off the backboard, I think at the half. He looked a little taller than John. Now there's a difference in our program and others. Others probably encourage their sons to go to school and play where they did. How many of our really good players have sent sons to play for UALR? The Rivers kid is a perfect example. Didn't he sign with Nebraska? Of course James Scott, Jr. did come for one year and left. Didn't get a scholarship, and wasn't willing to stay without one. I don't know how good he would have been, but I'd love to have some kids of our former greats play for us, assuming they were good players.
