What kind of crowd was there last night? I know that the box score had it as a little over 3,000. It didn't sound like much of a crowd on the radio broadcast. Wasn't very loud. I've been there about two or three times, and I'll bet there wasn't a thousand there at any of the games. I understand that the students haven't returned from the Christmas break.

I thought it was a very nice crowd. In fact, I thought the estimate of a little over 3000 was low. I doubt they would underestimate their crowd. I guess I'm getting used to our overestimates.
It was a good crowd for the men but light for the women until late.
I heard the announcer from North Texas say that it was a great crowd considering the fact that the students were out for Christmas holidays. He didn't announce any numbers that I heard. That looks like a very nice arena. The floor was particularly pretty to look at.

Very nice arena. I'd have to look up what it holds, but it looked about twice the size of the Jack. All cushioned theater style seats.
Isn't it called "The Pit". I guess when we play it's called "The Pits".
It holds 10,000 plus. Nice place.

I love the green and gold court. Beautiful.

Have they remodeled it, or just changed out the seats? I've been there twice for Trojan games, and for the tournament, but I didn't remember cushion seats.
My wife reminds me that the seats are cushioned like Alltel (Verizon) and they had cup holders

Ah, cup holders. I could have used a cup holder the one time I sat in the leather seats at the jack. It's a good thing it was not too crowded otherwise I would have showered someone with [plug]Diamond Bear Pale Ale [/plug] 04-cheers

My wife alway brings up the lack of cupholders. Not sure how Chris missed that little detail. Probably a relatively minor cost, that saves a lot in cleanup time and costs.
I heard the cup holders for the leather-type seats were only available in maroon. Go figure.

The seats should have been maroon in the first place. Hell they even put maroon seats in Alltel for us, and the folks designing out arena opted for black. Go figure.
