But I was not super impressed. I think we can beat them in Little Rock. Maybe its good we get our two toughest games over to start the season. I can't recall. Have we ever won in Denver? Couldn't be more than once or twice.
Sun Belt dropping travel partners this year has really changed things around. You guys have to open with a very difficult road trip. and we're opening up with South Alabama Western Kentucky at home and then a road trip to the 2 Florida's

Usually we almost always were at your opposite number for these trips. and now I looked and you guys dont play South Alabama till a trip to mobile next to last game of the season, and we played them week 1. Schedule is going to take some getting used to

By now, it shouldn't matter where we play people. We've played a lot of games, and we're going to have to play everyone twice anyway, so I'm not making excuses about our conference schedule. Before this game it was that things were going to be o.k. once we got into conference because everyone was down, and we're as good as anyone. We might end up being, but not the way we're playing right now. We're just not a together team. Once again, playing selfish ball, from what I see. Not looking for the open man. MJS. You're a pro dealing with people. Just watch our team's body language. We look like a team that is expecting to lose, at least on the road.
Home games probably mean more in basketball than the other major sports, because the crowd is closer to the action and the noise is contained inside a building.
Winning at NT would have been really tough. Our guards are our strength, and their guards are probably the best in the conference, better even than ours, I would guess.
According to Sagarin, NT is the only team in the Belt that "ought" to beat us at the Jack.

I'm glad you're still optimistic. I guess anything is possible, but I wouldn't plan on beating this team anywhere. Not unless Will Neighbour becomes eligible next week.04-cheers
I agree with MJS on NT. We should beat them here. They were not that impressive to me. We had some good up close shots that just did not drop. Courtney was great but has to start making free throws.
We've always done better against North Texas that we should have, but I think the talent level is starting to take over and they're winning with better talent. In the past, I think there have been a lot times when their talent was better, but we had enough team unity and leadership to offset it by playing over our heads and they didn't play as well as they should have. Our senior leadership hasn't been what it should have since Hardaman, Willis and Graber left.
