I used to love to listen to Abbott and Costello on the radio as a kid. I often wondered how Bud Abbott kept a straight face...

I'm REAL old school. I was 9 before my family got a TV, a few years before color TVs came out...

Oddly enough, Lou Costello was the one who wrote most of their material - including "Who's On First?"...

Ma and Pa Kettle tried the same routine....





I thought it was strange they used the symbology divisor ) dividend ( quotient but Lou did the same thing.... guess that's an older way to divide?

That was the original way division was taught, prior to new math being introduced in the late 1940s...
