I didn't get to hear it, but my wife said when they interviewed Josh on the radio after the game, he was so emotional he had trouble speaking.
Congratulations to the Magazine football team and to their coaches. They've certainly lived a dream year. I look forward to watching the replay tonight.

Wow. To take a tiny school like Magazine from where he started a few seasons ago to an undefeated state championship! That's big time. I would think Josh might have a chance to start moving up on the coaching chain if he desires.04-cheers

I heard Houston is looking for an assistant from the high school ranks again. It worked so well for him last time.

Just kidding. But I am serious in my congratulating you and, especially, Josh for an incredible job. Seems like a great story for a book, movie, or ESPN 30 for 30.
I watched the replay last night, and enjoyed the game.

If he wants to. I am not sure what he will do. He has the twins returning next year, so I doubt he will do anything now. He has a nice new home, a growing family, his own folks close at hand. He can move into a pressure-packed situation, make more money, and possibly fail. Or he can stay at Magazine, and probably have the word "legendary" in front of his name 20 years from now when he retires.
By the way, Rachel (my daughter) and Eli (their older son) got to have sideline passes. Eli was fascinated by the grass that wasn't real grass.
Congrats! I was pulling for them!
I didn't realize it until today, but my father got to go to the game to see his grandson-in-law's team win the state championship. He is no doubt one of the few people living who can remember actually seeing a Rattler game in the first (pre-Depression) era of Magazine football.
