Can anyone confirm that Hammock was on the NIU campus last week and what he was there for ? Was he being interviewed by Kill or supplying him with insider Minnesota information. Just asking

This is a pretty interesting situation. There were reports that he was on campus last week. There are also reports that Kill didn't talk to Minnesota until Saturday, but Kill said he had watched the last two Minnesota games on film.
Was Hammock just back in DeKalb grabbing a coffee and meeting up with friends? Seems far fetched to me.
Was he back to talk to Kill about the position at Minnesota and to potential work himself onto the staff? Sounds more likely.
Obviously they wouldn't want us to know that the hiring process started before the MACC so who knows if we'll ever find out. Maybe it was just a coincidence but I'm not betting on it.
