My first reaction was disappointment in seeing an opportunity for a win slip away, and I also thought in terms of "Here we go again".....
But the more I thought about it, I see it as an opportunity to build some confidence and momentum as we get closer and closer to CUSA play. Georgia is as well coached a team as there is in the SEC, they are still lacking depth and top to bottom talent as a result of the Felton Fiasco, but I think, in time, Mark Fox will have them competing regularly for SEC honors, and NCAA berths. I was very impressed with the way his players approach the game, and the discipline they have.
And we were there....close, but still there. I can't help but think that game is going to pay huge dividends for us as conference play starts.
Just wanted to get the board's insights as well. Thanks in advance.
