Temple had a 8 win season and isn't going bowling. What's wrong with this picture?

Nothing. They lost 3 MAC games, sorry In my opinion if they play the top 4 MAC teams (OU, Miami, NIU and Toledo) they lose all four. You already lost to 3. If Toledo beat OU I assume it would mean a win for the Rockets as well. Injury's plaugued you at the end of the season but seriously did you watch your last 2 games? If there was a melt down at any other time I would say they deserved it but not this year.

Temple's record was better than some of the BCS teams that finished at 6 wins and 6 losses.

I would love to have Temple go bowling but while their record may be better than the BCS teams they all do better in the areas that the bowls car about. If Temple had done better in the MAC they would have been chosen.

The most important reason why Temple should be bowling is they thrashed a UConn team that has received the BE AQ BCS bid!

Well this is more of a problem of the Big Least being AQ even though some years they really do not earn it.

My thought was that a team with an 8-4 record that beats the conference champ of an AQ conference at lease deserves a bowl bid when there are 70 of them available.
