Spoke too soon...DLU turns up the defensive heat in the 2nd half, stifling Mercer. Nevertheless, I saw some significant vulnerabilities in DLU tonight.

I hate to admit it, but I believe Hoznic has continued to make strides in the offseason. He looked awfully damn good and dominated in the paint.

Brown looked better than Hodzic in our games last year, and I suspect he will make him look like a fool again this year.

Mercer's star big man Brandon Moore was out for the final 25 minutes of this game with injury, allowing the paint to open up.
