About Kent State

• Kent State comes into Sunday's contest sporting an overall record of 7-1 on the season.The Golden Flashes have won five-straight contests, including a 69-53 victory over Louisian-Monroe on Thursday. Kent State's lone loss this season was a 69-66 defeat at Cleveland State (11/14).

• Tonight's contest marks the first time this season the Golden Flashes have played outside the state of Ohio. Kent State's only true road game came at Cleveland State on Nov. 14. The Flashes have also played three neutral site contests, all coming in Cleveland, Ohio when they cometed at the World Vision Classic.

• Kent State is led by junior forward Justin Greene, who averages team highs of 19.1 points and 7.1 rebounds a contest. He also leads the team in field goal percentage (.620) and minutes played (31.4).

• Two other players for KSU average double figures in junior guard Carlton Guyton (12.9 ppg) and senior guard Rodriquez Sherman (10.3 ppg). Junior guard Michael Porrini leads the team with 4.4 assists a game, while also contributing 8.3 points and 4.9 rebounds per contest.
