I just watched the Falcons and the Burner beat the cheeseheads. It is tough to watch the Bears with two mediocre backs and Wolfe languishing on the bench. This life long Bears fan now prefers to watch Atlanta. Go Falcons, get into the playoffs and lets see the Burner lead the team to a Superbowl!

Its a little tough for me to watch the Bears because I keep checking the message board and internet for new Huskie top 25 articles!

Its kinda cool that you could travel to all fifty states in the nation, and on average only have a 50% chance of finding ONE college team better than NIU in the entire state :)
I agree. I miss GW and love to watch Turner the Burner.
As an NIU fan I prefer to watch Atlanta.
I am grateful to the Bears for having GW on the Roster, but I would love to see him run again.
(Still believe GW is the best NIU FB of the last 10 years).
Not all great college players can play in the NFL. Wolfe is not better than Forte or Taylor. Not too hard to understand.
I believe he can flourish in some other systems (New England) but he will never be more than the 3rd RB on the majority of NFL teams. He's a FA this year (I think) so Wolfe will have a chance to do what is best for him in the offseason.

I am not impressed with Taylor, it is time to see what he can do on special teams and what Garrett Wolfe can do as a third down back.
The Bears just won so I'd rethink that if I were you.
I dont know how this team does it. But time to admit I was dead wrong about the team. I cant believe they are 8-3 and just beat the Eagles.

I never expected the Bears to win today. I'm shocked actually. Just wish they would have been able to do a lot more pounding on Vick.
I expected a loss as well but I stand by my statement that Chester Taylor is not a good back and I would like to see what Wolfe could do in this offense. I believe that he would be a good change of pace third down back.
There are still actually screwballs out there that think Garrett Wolfe is a more competent NFL running back than Matt Forte and Chester Taylor. Good friggin Lord. In case you have been paying attention, Garrett Wolfe's NFL existence is owed near completely to his special teams play. He is a running back in name only at this point.
I agree that Forte > Wolfe and I agree that Wolfe is a running back in name only at this point. That said, da Bears never gave him a legitimate chance and it will be a long time before I can forget that. So for now

GO Falcons!

This from a life long Bear's fan that used to buy standing room tickets to watch Bear games in Wrigley Field back in the late 60's.
