Lots of lopsided games this week!!

OU 6 KSU 28 - What happened to OU? They give up on Solich or was KSU inconsistent this season?

NIU 71 EMU 3 - WOW NIU is really good!!! TOP 25!!!!

WMU 41 BGSU 7 - Did BG team quit??

CMU 31 Tol 42 - Best game this week?

Buf 14 AKR 22 - Bulls gave scare at the end, lots for both teams to work on! Good win for Zips players still with team!!
There's nothing shocking about UB losing. Quinn has completely wrecked this team. It's now as bad as when Hofher was fired.
I think you guys are in the same position as the Zips. Change in philsophy and severely lacking depth = total failure.... It will get better as long as we aren't following the path Syracuse initially used. Nothing went right until they started over again, and are now just starting to see results....
Kent State was very inconsistent, I mean with that defense and with more solid (less chokes) we should have won at least two more games. Miami and Toledo were so close...

Toledo spotting KSU 21 was why it was close. They spotted BSU 17 too.
Bad first quarters plagued the Rockets but when they stepped it up KSU was no match. They did have the athletes just got cocky and blew it. I expect the flashes to be a team to beat next year. Akron too with that RB.
NIU is playing really, really well. On one hand I am so excited to see Miami win the East, but OTOH I am not sure I'm looking forward to playing the Huskies in the MACC...they will be very tough to beat!
This talk reminds me of the lead-up to the Ball State-Buffalo MACC a couple years ago. The question back then was not who would win, but how many points Ball State would win by. Of course the result was a UB upset.

Although circumstances were different back then, and I believe the "should they play at Boise or not?" question and weekly Letterman coverage provided too much distraction for a Cardinal team not used to such a spotlight.

That said, like everyone else, I think NIU wins this one by a bunch of points. But the parallel to two years ago can't go unnoticed.
