I think the fact that Watson Brown reportedly told Sullivan that he could move up to head coach last year or this year and it did not happen could be the root of the problem in terms of why Watson Brown has completely lost this team. Combined with the reports that he told Carol Garrison that he would move up to AD and then didn't do that on more than one occassion could explain why Carol Garrison wants Watson gone. If the above is true (and I believe it is) then why is Watson still here? Does he have the best interest of UAB at heart or the best interest of Watson Brown? Who is this mysterious Board of Trustee member (PBJr?) who is pressuring Carol Garrison to keep Watson as head coach? This BOT clearly does NOT have the best interest of UAB at heart and desires to keep Watson in place as Head Coach just to continue killing interest and support for UAB football.

Regarding the subject line...I would take Sully over CWB any day! I know that politics and behind door mtgs./agreements may or may not have been made, but for the love...some one please make a decission! Sully is about to leave for Samford if he is not offered the HC job (I don't blame him) and CWB will continue in what ever he pleases so it seems. I hope PGC sticks to her guns and is not swayed by the BoT. From what I am reading, as far as football is concerned, she seems to have UAB's future success at heart and in her opinion and mine, it should not be CWB! CWB as ADWB is okay, but I am not fond of this also if it too comes to fruitition.
