After four years of watching MA coached teams it felt weird to watch another team press us only to have us not press back.
The game got away from us with some silly turnovers and that long 3 by that guy that killed us last year. After that our offense went stagnant and we couldn't stop WKU from hitting ridiculous shots.
Overall, it appeared that our energy level just wasn't there. WKU was obviously fired up for this game and they played like it the entire time. While it was apparent we had better physical abilities we just weren't aggressive enough. Missed some easy rebounds and made some really poor passes that led to WKU points.
So, now we are 3-3 on the season. Would be real nice to be 4-2 but we have to remember we've played 5 games on the road with a new system, new coaching staff, and everybody except Wen is in a new role.
I'm confident that this team will be playing well by the time conference play starts. We just need to work on the free throws and cutting down the turnovers.
Disappointing game but not the end of the world. Go Blazers.

We expected NIT with CMA still here, I don't think anyone expected a team learning a new system would come out of the gate looking like world beaters. Sure, we all thought we would look better than we did tonight, but this is probably going to be the story of the OOC season.

Are you sure you were watching the game? I saw a ton of player movement, especially when compared to last year. We actually make passes toward the basket as opposed to just passing around the 3 pt. line.

Remember too that he doesn't have his players here yet. And they have only been playing together for a month or so. They need some time. we should look much better come conference time. until then, we have to roll with the punches

That was our last home loss. We have nearly gone a year without a home loss. Minnesota and DePaul will put our 14 game home win streak to the test next week.

I was watching the game
so far the only play that we have is Delany going to the basket
if delany doesn't score over 20 we got no chance of winning ..that is not movement

Calm down. We are 6 games into a new season with a whole new identity. Give it some time. If I didn't know better, I would think that you wanted MD fired with WB. Relax and let the game come to you. I believe that we had some growing pains form MB to MA as well, even an NIT the first year. After that, things began to get rolling. From one Blazer to another, RELAX.
