Hey everyone Look toward Mid December News will come then before the bowls start if the BE knows all of its teams.

At the moment 3 teams might be added at once

if not December it will be late summer right before the season
what makes you think 3 teams? wasn't it 2 now and maybe 2 later?

Somebody is reading Bleacher Report 05-mafia
Villanova has already said it will not have a decision until the spring.
look for three teams

Temple as FB only possible (allowing Nova in the future to join)

UCF and TCU full

These are the teams i am hearing at the moment

Temple thing im not sure how strong that is but what i know it all about the market to help renegotiate the TV contracts

The BE Comish mentioned during a BE game last week that the # 10 is not set in stone

IF this goes on into the summer look for possible B12 teams instead of UCF and Temple

Possible K and Kst if this drags out
I believe Temple is getting more attention as Nova is leaning toward saying no to football

This is not set in stone but the way things are leaning atm

No BL never get on it just info i am hearing atm
I have been fooled many times in believing inside info. Never again. I'm just cautiously optimistic at this point.
Tell me why again a school like KU or K-State leave the money and relative security of the B12 for the comparatively tenuous and poor BE?
Are you listening to Memphis media?
Where is Sandiss?

I never said this is going to happen and it would be stupid to think it is but this is the mind set from what im told atm and is subject to change

B12 = most unstable conference. Many school are really upset with the new deal that the bottom FB team give a good about of their rev to Texas (B12 deal made this summer) + the texas espn deal is getting other B12 teams upset also

The BE will get a big increase in FB monies w/ without expansion and BB monies are expected to jump up big time also

No i live in East Tennessee
I think KU, KSU, MO and ISU could be pursuaded to leave the Longhorn Conference. But it would only be for an all-sports conference. They aren't punching out of their own accord for a hybrid. Maybe they'd do that if Texas shuffles off to the PAC first. Otherwise no way.
Well why add anyone now if it's a good chance big 12 schools will be available in 8 mos?

it all depends on what the BE wants to do, how big of a risk do they want to run

IF they do go after B12 schools K and Kst They should not get TCU or or anyone else

Reasons why. so the B12 can pick TCU up

IF the BE goes for all three it will kill the B12 and thus texas will go knocking of Pac10 doors and 14 team expansion will happen

if they go after K and Kst then the BE must know that no team will leave for other conferences
I could see the Big ten schools maybe using the Big East at the very least as a powerplay against Texas. Its in Texas best interest to keep it together though.

I'm thinking December 7th or 8th will be the big day.
Ah. Good point. If the Big10 folded, super conferences could in turn destroy the BE. HA. Ironic if they started it.

Which team is the #10 in flux, UCF, TCU or temple?
So the big12 would sit pat with 9 teams in that scenario?
I dont know honestly

temple i really dont think they have a big push from FB schools but i think it was an answer from the BB side as it began to look that Nova will not be making the jump

TCU nor UCF is a lock

UCF is looked at only because of Media Market

TCU will not always be a top ten program BE knows this and they are not sure if they want them in all sports as their BB is Horrid

IF nothing is announced from Dec 4-18 there will not be anything until summer

no at that point they will have 8 teams and they will not keep it at 8

Note Braska and Colorado are both leaving after this year

This is confusing. Did you mean to put an "or" between the first line and the 2nd. I know you said "3" teams. Do you mean they may add 3 teams or are looking at 3 teams...those being the teams?

Did you mean: Temple as football only...then Nova has a spot leaving the BE with 10/16? If not...then it's TCU and UCF full? Or...to get UCF and TCU the Big East would have to invite all-sports and they're weighing that option. The BB schools are looking at Temple to give them nine if Nova says "no". But what about #10?

You said that Temple is getting more attention because Nova is leaning towards saying no. But that contradicts the above statement you made, "Temple as FB only possible (allowing Nova in the future to join)".

Lots of holes there. Nova already stated that if they moved up...they didn't want Temple, too. And the BE wouldn't be expanding 2 teams into the same market if it's all about TV.

The B12 teams seem like a long shot to be announcing to expand to 10 soon.

I'll try and comprehend what you may be trying to say...tell me if I'm close on my recap....

UCF and TCU all sports to be invited by mid-December is one scenario being tossed around. Temple may also be a 3rd as FB-only allowing room for Nova to move up, if they want as the 12th? BE having 12/18. Or are you saying that the BB schools are pushing for Temple and a #10 to be added later...but the fb schools don't want that?
