NIU is 29th in all 3 polls.

Temple is 31st in the AP poll and 30th in the coaches and Harris poll.
NIU moved up nicely and is now in pretty decent shape to finish the year in the top 25 if they win out and win their bowl game....same is true for Temple.
Actually they're both on track to be ranked going into the MACC if they're 10-2. It would be sweet to have two ranked teams playing each other in Detroit.
I have no doubt that NIU will head into the MACC 10-2. I just hope we can hold up our end of the bargain.
If Temple and NIU are both ranked at the MACC one will drop out after they lose. Doesn't matter if its 71-7- in nine OTs, one will drop out. It sucks but its reality. Best hope is for that to happen and then boit teams win big in the bowl games.

But the loser, if they own their bowl game, have a crack at getting back in..
Don't expect to see Temple getting any more votes unless they win out. Top-25 is all but gone.

I do wonder if Ohio will start seeing any votes at all.
3 AP Pollsters put Temple in their top 25. 1 of which did not have NIU in there top 25. Hopefully he will see the errors in their ways :)

The One was at 24. One that had temple at 21 and NIU at 24 was from Fort Wayne, IN. Interesting that he would put Temple ahead of NIU, not that location has anything to do with it but you would think that one state over would mean something.

The third had both with NIU at 21 and temple at 24. This one was the first to give a vote to the Huskies.

I had them at 25 this week in the sbnation poll. They finished #31 right behind NIU. Ohio got zero votes in the Blog POll which tends to be less old boys club than the AP or Coaches poll, I would be suprised if they get too many votes this time around.

If they win the MACC then maybe theyll get some votes...
