9 turnovers for Kent State and 1-4 at the line are really only reason the game is close. Otherwise pretty good half for Kent State.

Towson 20 Miami 18 (6:12 left 1st half)

Kent State 73 Iona 72 Final. Green with 26 pts and 14 rebs. Sherman with 20 pts. Iona was 21-10 12-6 in MAAC last year so this is a good win for the MAC. Green wins it with a free throw with 1 second left.
Miami not playing well....too many missed 3 pointers and hardly any foul shots at all.
WMU is up on Xavier in Cincy 18-16 midway first.
Miami down 41-40 to Towson middle of 2nd half...MU didn't have one FG the first 10 minutes of the second half!
..and in a quick MAC football update, BSU up 10-3 over Buffalo at half. BSU dominating the stats so far.
Miami down by one with 7:50 to play....sloppy game.
Miami keeps fouling.....down 4 and just had a charging call..not lookn' good.
32-23 at half, Broncos. Game started with Xavier up 10-3. Since then, the Broncos have held the upper hand.

WMU-Xavier is on FoxSportsCinci, despite the Disk Network reported the programming as being a NHL hockey game. Yes to hoops!

Miami pulls it out over Towson, 60-57. We took way too many 3's in this one (and made precious few of 'em until later in the second half).
Not trying to be a downer but the MAC has to beat these schools that no one has ever heard of before in basketball. This goes for NIU too, we certainly haven't done this conference any favors in a while.
NIU faces a tough test tonight against Northwestern. Interesting that they are only favored by 9.5.
