From a list of 12 NFL Players who are making a difference for their teams this season:
9. Jason Babin, DE, Tennessee. After a piece earlier this week, Alisa Welch (aka @The WriterBabe) tweeted to complain that I only mentioned the Titans twice in the list of contenders. Babin makes this list deservedly. He was a "bust'' because he was a first-round draft pick by Houston who only played like a seventh-rounder -- a "tweener" linebacker/defensive end who never really fit in with the Texans, Seahawks, Chiefs or Eagles. This year? He has seven sacks, more than he's had in any of his seven seasons. He won't reach 17 1/2, his total for his first six NFL years. But he might get fairly close.
