Anybody who knows me knows that. However, with Kansas down by 4 touchdowns, I agreed with my son to leave the game early knowing that this year's Kansas team had scored 3 points against North Dakota State and lost 55-7 to Baylor and 59-7 to KState. We both subsequently dozed off while watching the LSU/Alabama game, but his Frat house is only a couple of hundred yards from the Stadium. I could hear the PA announcer through his Frat room window, and I kept hearing things like "touchdown Kansas", "onside kick recovered", "fumble recovered", etc. in my dream-like state. I finally woke up, yelled at my son to wake up, and said "Were going back to the stadium". He ran after me in his half-asleep state. We got there in time to see Kansas force Colorado to punt and then score the winning touchdown. Of course, Colorado than drove down the field in the last minute and had two chances to score from the 8 yard line (one pass looked like a TD to us, but video review called the player out of bounds). Anyway, I guess I can sort of say I was there for "the greatest comeback in Kansas football history". Not sure there have been many better anywhere:

LAWRENCE, Kan.(AP) It was the greatest comeback in Kansas history.

James Sims scored four touchdowns, including the game-winner of 28 yards with 52 seconds left Saturday, as Kansas scored 35 unanswered points in the final 11:05 to defeat Colorado 52-45.

I got a good chuckle thinking about you using that game to break your policy of never leaving a game early/ Conversely, I had to convince my son, sepdaughter, and wife not to leave the Miracle on Markham early
