According to UABsports.cstv.com, the UAB volleyball team has earned the program's highest seed ever in the C-USA Tournament--5th.
The Blazers hope to win their first match in the tournament since 1999 AND the Blazers' 23 wins is the highest for the program since 1991.
How can this be?

The team won their first game of the match against UCF and currently lead the second 12-9. If you want to follow the score, just go to uabsports.com, scroll to the bottom for the upcoming events and click the gametracker link.
Edit: UAB just won the second game. The match is best 3 of 5 to advance to tomorrow's round.

UCF won the third game then UAB demolished them in the 4th to win the match. UAB moves on to play 4th seeded Tulane tomorrow.
