Big East will expand to 10 teams in football, set to begin play in 2012. Additional teams may be added by the 2014 season. Big East will spend several months at evaluating each candidate and consider criteria ranging from football attendance, academics, fan travel, market, TV ratings, budget, facilities, and etc. Looks like the usual suspects are all being looked at and Villanova will choose not to move up to BCS level for football.

Nova is out?? I find that hard to believe.

Maybe Nova is out for the 2012 (might take a while to get ready for FBS) and they are part of the possible 2014 move?
