Nice to read that Coach Senderoff was voted as best assistant coach in the MAC by other MAC coaches. It’s as though we have two head coaches on the bench that LIKE each other.

Can’t wait to see how RS uses his skill at developing big men with Greene and Manns this year.

Senderoff Voted Top MAC Assistant

It’s one of the RC’s fee based articles, so don’t know if the link works or not.

Gotcha - thanks for the info.
Probably shouldn't post this, but here is the way around that:

If I'm not mistaken, I think it's on the KSUsports.com website. I'm pretty sure I saw it there today!04-cheers

Hey dannyb73, remember the days of Keith Lee, Baskerville Holmes, Coach Kirk when Memphis State was in their heyday! I have family in Memphis, and I've always rooted for the Tigers! (After KSU of course!)04-cheers
If Geno is still here at the end of the season, Rob might not be.
Hard to disagree.

The question is if Senderoff is still toxic to other schools because of his association with Sampson. If so, that could keep him in Kent a while longer.

Not that he owes Kent State anything, but Geno and the Athletic department stuck their necks out for Coach Senderoff when he was up against it. He only recently has been able to be out recruiting(i think)
So even though he may have some opportunities at the end of this season, I would hope that he sees this thing through and shows some of the loyalty that he was shown when he went through that whole debacle.

now if they go out and win the league and a tourney game or two, there could be quite a bit of turnover in the coaching staff and if thats the case then I am quite alright with it 03-wink

I knew Coach Kirk well (through my father). And absolutely, I remember all of those teams as I grew up going to Tigers games. I will be at the Fed Ex Forum tomorrow night for the exhibition opener.
Keith Lee and crew played at Kent in either '83 or '84. I was there, pretty good crowd.
Is Caoch kirk out of prison?
