Baseball stars succeed at that level and make millions.

I taught high school for 27 years and found out that head sports coaches get paid very well and then get to pick and choose those students they will deal with , often meet no classes, and when they lose too many games, become school principals since they are in most cases not certified to teach academic subjects and then they complain about the Tenure Law when they don't know a good teacher from a bad one since they have never been either. BTW, One of the best teachers I ever had in my History Dept. was Robert "Rah-Rah" Scott who was pulled out after two years and joined all the other non-teaching (classroom) head coaches.

03-lmfao Touche'!

, One of the best teachers I ever had in my History Dept. was Robert "Rah-Rah" Scott who was pulled out after two years and joined all the other non-teaching (classroom) head coaches.

"Rah-Rah" & I were classmates at Parker High School. I'm not sure how true it was, I'd heard rumbles that then-basketball coach "Cap" Brown wanted "Rah" to take over the reins as Parker's new hoops HC, but alleged school office "red tape" interference prevented the passing of the torch, allegedly leading "Rah" to take a similar position at West End at the time.

"Rah" always impressed me in school and beyond as a very humble and special young man. His passing had a profound effect on many of us.
