one thing great about attending the sun belt tourney is meeting folks from other schools that may be d!cks on a message board but when you meet them in real life they turn out to be okay.
one of those folks is kajunraidah....actually he's not a d!ck on a message board...that would be me.
met him through our mutual friend gammodm from h.h. and he's an ambassador for the muts. good peeps that loves his squad.
anyhoo....we've hooked up an chatted at different events and even on the cellios on occasion.
anyhoo....last night i had to miss the second half of our win because i had to eat supper with my son's future in laws for the first time. we kept up with the score and it was an enjoyable dinner. as i prepared to leave i get a cell call from 615 area code.
i assume it's from nashville, almost don't answer but finally say hello...they say 'who is this'...i say 'who did you want' (in typical d!ck dahbeed fashion).
turns out it was my amigo from down souf and he was congratulating my toppahs on a win. he didn't denigrate the cajuns. he just knew it meant a lot to get that monkey off our back.
p.s. sounded like he and his boys wuz having a good time in the background.....little postgame ulm beatdown celebration.
p.p.s. this doesn't mean that me and the 'borracho' will be taking showers together into the wee hours of the morn. just sayin' we can get along at times as fanbases.
