Thank you, and I accept the honor. At least I will provide some variation from the queens of this and previous years.
My comments will likely stir up a hornets nest if I am not careful to express my unbiased self & choose my words well.
1) I have NO problem with the NIU HC K&Q being black. Congrats to both for being elected.
2) Seem like several recent K&Qs have been black.
3) Black IS beautiful.
4) My mother once said when I was attending NIU it would not surprise your family if you married a
black woman.
5) Why are blacks often elected HC K&Qs?
Do most black voters vote for black candidates and the votes for white candidates are divided?

Pretty funny.. a group of black girls were sitting in front of me at the game. One girl said "i bet the black guy and girl win.. black people always win homecoming"... other girl says "yeah white people love voting for black people". That's so true haha.. I'm pretty sure the HC winners were black during my entire 4 years. Was also true over 50% of the time at my high school. Nothing wrong with it.. kinda funny though.
I would have voted for the blonde chick in the skin-tight dress.
lilac or purple dress if my memory holds true..had my vote too
