Of course I would comment on this. Does the 63K tickets that have been sold factor in the Band Day? The registration is still online. All of those students in the high school marching bands should count for our overall attendance. I also saw on the website something new that we didn't do; Athletics is giving each attending school a block of tickets, on top of the seats that the students will use, for the bands to sell, at 100% profit to the high school band. If that has not been counted into the tickets sold, and I'm hoping it has not, that could bring in a good crowd.
(A marching band of 100 people including students & chaperons + the band boosters & family members buying the allotted tickets from their band department.)
If we get 90K or not, I like Joel's ambition and risk taking to get this goal.
