Four defensive starters went down against OSU.
Two probably for the rest of the season.
We lost our starting RB Kevis Streeter against NT.
Ladarius Green hasn't played since the MT game and wasn't 100% when we played stAte.
Our back-up QB, McGuire, hasn't played a down all season due to a foot injury.
So, yes. I think we have a few injuries.

Cant use the injury thing as an excuse, though... Its been done... Lace em up, bust some sss, let the chips fall where they may... That being said it is a proven fact that Troy is a mutha to play at home...or anytime for that matter...

I'm not surprised by the spread. Based upon what has happened over the past three weeks, Troy should be a 21 pt. favorite.
based on history, Troy should be favored by atleast two touchdowns in every conference game until proven otherwise.

Our SID has been known for such mistakes in the past, so I doubt that any quantlet has been thrown down unless Troy refused to comply with the request. In either case, it won't matter after Saturday night because Troy will win once again.
On the other hand, this probably won't make MG61 happy but North Texas was asked to change the scoreboard from Louisiana-Lafayette to Louisiana and it was done! Thanks to those guys, class folks in Denton.

Memo, the Sun Belt Conference has a President that is a former disgruntled UL employee in Wright Waters. The Sun Belt conference office doesn't decide what member univeristies can or cannot brand their athletics. Waters serves at the leisure of the presidents of all member institutions, not the other way around. The state of Louisiana can issue no edict to Troy or any other Sun Belt program to refer to the Cajuns as Louisiana-Lafayette athletically. So to detach your SID from the decision to call us Louisiana-Lafayette after they were respectfully asked not to, is blatantly dishonest and hypocritical.
I've looked at your 2010 and 2009 media guides, both refer to us as Louisiana-Lafayette. Your ticket promotions refer to us as Louisiana-Lafayette. Some members have worked with our SID and others have not, but for you to come here and complained about what UL is calling your Institution is a joke. Respect is a two way street and if you want to play that game you will be disrespected as well. That's your SID's choice, no one is holding a gun to the collective heads at Troy.

The point is that you had to ask them to do it. They didn't do it initially because they don't call you that out of habit. So, yeah, nobody calls you Louisiana outside of Lafayette unless they're asked to do so.

Wow. Even I think more than two TD's is a little much. I know Louisiana had some guys go down, but up until MTSU our defense made every game a nail biter.

The name will have nothing to do with the results on the field Saturday night. Bottomline, Troy SID made a decision and UL reciprocated. You brought your complaints to this board, now you can live with the consequences. You know what you can do with your opinion.
