You are an outstanding team. Love your QB, but your other parts are good too. Cream of the MAC right now.
Thanks, we have been waiting for a team like this since 2005. Best of luck in the East. See you in Detroit???
I'd expect a rematch in Detroit. Nobody in the east can play with Temple. Temple's D played a solid game despite being on the field most of it.

Being on the field was a result of failing, in the second half, to get anything done on O. As you can imagine, Temple fans want another QB inserted. If we meet again in Detroit, you are the prohibitive favorite unless our QB gets turned around.

I would be concerned if I were Temple....

Quote:I'm pretty sure he is, this was game 6 and he was suspended for 6 games so let's hope we see him and let's hope he really tears it up. If this happens then we have a solid running game with a decent passing game which will make us very tough adding in the fact that we have 2 QB's that can run as well. Hell, now I'd like to see Harden, Bates, and Boo in at the same time. You want to see a defense's worst nightmare? I think that combo of those three will be it.

Temple should be concerned because an Ohio homer is excited about the return of a suspended player? I would take a healthy Pierce over anyone Ohio has on their roster (or anyone else in the MAC for that matter).

Ohio doesn't have Pierce but has more weapons than it knows what to do with.

The Bobcats killed Temple last year too, don't for get that. This year's TU team looks similar in strength to last years.

Now I like to bash Temple as much as the next guy (maybe more!) but please, Ohio has yet to beat a quality opponent (Wofford, BGSU, and EMU). All 4 of Temple's wins are against good teams, as are their losses. Last year was last year.

As good as Pierce is that Matt Brown is no chopped liver he would be the #1 back for several MAC programs.
Tremendous game by the NIU QB. Coach Kill had a great game plan. Best of luck the rest of the season and hope to see you back in Detroit.
Its taken me a few days to recover...

That was a hell of an ass kicking handed out by NIU on Temple. Hats off to coach Kill and the team for playing just a higher level of football then Temple. NIU was by far the best team we have played this season and Temple can only hope to get a chance at a rematch in Detriot.

I can't think of a phase where Temple was superior... again all I can say is great job.

Kick returns. Coaching attire. Other than that,

lol 04-rock
Keeping their #### helmets on too, I guess.
Thanks Owl fans. The first half of the game was played very evenly. Neither team looked like it had a clue how to stop the other. If you guys had a more consistent QB that would have continued into the 2nd half probably, and no telling what would have happened. I think that was the difference.

I agree, Kill did some very good preparation for this game, and playcalling was very good. Harnish is good at faking the handoff, which helps. Although, it's annoying to miss seeing the QB run down the sidelines because I'm watching a football-less RB get tackled. We generally didn't have that in previous years, you always knew who had the ball. If both these teams end up in the Championship game, it should be quite a battle.

Oh yea, that would help too. 03-banghead We were fortunate that didn't come back to haunt us.
Have your fun ladies... karmas a *****. I think around here you better win the MAC... otherwise you can suck it.
U mad?

LOL... furious.

Go win the Mac then talk smack... until then ... enjoy your win and hope your team is ready for the next week... I know a team that won 9 in a row last year... and got **** to show for it.
