Thinking back Bonds was in Cubits so called doghouse quite a bit but it was always for things related to football right? Practice habits, timeliness, etc... if memory serves. I don't think he engaged in anything like that while he was here, we don't have the reach to cover for someone engaged in really unseemly activity like some big BCS programs do. I don't think this reflects much on the Bronco football program.
FWIW, the majority of molestation perpetrators have a personal history of the same being done to them as youngsters. Not defending him, or giving excuses. But it is what it is.
Based off of what little I have read, it seems like not only did he know she was underage but by threatening her family tried to manipulate her as well. As a teacher of middle school kids, and really any human being reading this should be discusted by what this man has done. I have to believe that had Cubit known anything about this the man wouldnt oly be in his dog house but off the team. The worst thing a person can do, IMO, is harm a child.
