Rockets up 17-0 as half winds down! 02-13-banana
After watching Purdue last week, I had no reason to believe Toledo couldn't hang and even beat them.

Purdue's offense is very good.

Purdue's offense is very good.

Marve got hurt again in the 2nd quarter. The backup has been moving their offense better than Marve did though. They only had 1 first down until the last drive of the half when they got 4 or 5 first downs before missing a field goal just before halftime.

Toledo's offense has done alright. Page dropped what might have been a touchdown earlier in the game, and we ended up punting on that drive. We've been called for some holding and illegal shifts to stall drives too.

Overall, Toledo has played well and the defense continues to play well. The defense has forced one turnover and dropped what would have been an INT that might have gone for a TD.
Congrats Toledo04-cheers
Purdue's loss to Toledo makes WMU look better.
I meant to say Purdue's offense WASN'T the offense they've had in the last few years. It's so tough to go into a Big Ten stadium and walk out with a win so it was great to see.

I thought Purdue might come back when they cut it to 24-17. Big congrats to UT for the win today.
Nice win Toledo.
Ditto. Thanks for handing the B10 another loss.
The MAC was only 16 pts (Temple 13 PSU 22, CMU 25 NU 30) from going 4-4 vs the Big 10. Since all games were road games that would have been a huge win for the MAC. If Bernard Pierce plays the whole game, Temple beats Penn State. He had 2 rushing TD's in the first half.
