anyone know how much they cost if you have to replace them?
No. But if you get a new one, make sure those dumba$$es give you the right one. I made an equipment change recently and asked if i had the right type box several times and was told yes. It was my fault i guess that i didn't ask the same question about the remote control. Now i have to go back up there and wait in line again to get the right remote for that type of box.

Most comcast employees are morons and are lucky to even have a job. I really don't see how most of them make it in life.
They should love me bringing mine in now that its in about 10 pieces. Deep down, I know that 162-0 isnt a possibility for the Yankees, but tonite's game was too much to take. On top of it all, I get to patch some sheetrock and explain it to my better half when she gets home.

Maybe I should curb the drinking and bet less.

Yea, especially if you plan on being a Cowboys fan the rest of the year.
comcast come out on a service call to my house, and I asked the guy for a remote to replace the one that my 2 year old threw in the trash. He just grabbed one out of his truck and handed it to me. No charge.

I've got one I'm not using. It was just a regular HD box with no DVR though. You're more than welcome to it.

** I'm a Cowboys fan too and I had to refrain from throwing mine Sunday. Luckily, I was too hungover to do anything like that.
They are TOTALLY FREE!

I've replaced mine once a year for the last five years. If one button starts acting up or gets stuck, I just take it by the Comcast office.

They will gladly hand you a brand new one with fresh batteries. All you have to do is program it to your TV, DVD player, etc. No problem.
