I had no idea this kids played at Illinois and kicked for them. He graduate from U of I and is in grad school here. Looking at his profile, it appears he was just used for kickoffs and not FG's at Illinois. He's got an incredible leg, just not very accurate.
He made his field golas yesterday. He needs to be the one for all kicks

Kidding, right?

I doubt he is. Cklamovski was 1 for 1 on PAT's and 1 for 1 on FG's. I believe all but one of his kickoffs went into the end zone too.
I hope he is our man!
Yeah, he was good at Iowa State.
Wooda made for an awesome story line if his final FG was for an NIU win.
Pretty much a perfect day aside from one return on a KO to the 9yd line for a 55yd return...fingers crossed lets keep this up!

After watching the Minnesota game on the Big Ten Network, I sure do know it now. Every time they mentioned him, they would also add that he played at U of I.
I still know it.
What does this mean for our future kicking game with Mathew Simms who we gave a scholly to? Does he have a future here and are they working on his development?

I'd assume so. He's only a freshman and has plenty of time to improve. I'm not exactly sure how much a kicker develops though and he has looked really bad. How the hell does a kid get a scholarship who can't even routinely make a 30 yard field goal? That is some seriously awful recruiting/scouting.

That's what I'm saying. Who knows maybe he does it in practice but isn't used to the pressure of a game yet. Hopefully with some mentoring he'll catch on. Would like to see him thrown out there again at some point this year.
