Let me start off by saying that I hate reality TV shows. Can't stand them. As a rule I would rather have hot needles stuck under my fingernails than watch American Idol, Survivor, etc. However, I happened to flip through the "America's Got Talent" show last week when that little girl was singing. As a result of that, I watched my first reality TV show ever. She was/is absolutely amazing. Don't misunderstand, I think Grimm was very good, but how he beat her, I'll never comprehend.

Don't watch either one of these shows but found it interesting that 2 Mississippians won their shows on the same night. I have seen some clips of Grimm and he is really really good. I think the Vegas gig prize maybe had something to do with the little girl not winning.

I wouldn't get near network TV for years and the thought of watching a reality show made me want to puke. A couple of years ago, my three sisters forced me to watch Big Brother, Survivor, Gordon Ramsay and Dancing With the Stars, just so we'd have something to talk about (I'm an expatriate and don't see them much). Dancing with the Stars lasted about fifteen seconds, but I now watch the others occasionally and Ramsay a lot. I enjoy watching people F with each other.

Ramsay is the only one of those shows I'll spend significant time watching also. I don't understand the attraction for any of the others, but I don't spend 3 hours a week on network shows.
