Early line is +7. I would expect that to grow. Our last 4 games at least, we haven't come close to Vegas' expectations.

I wouldn't doubt the line gets pulled all together. As is, it will grow to double digits where it belongs unfortunately.

Get pulled? Never. I agree, I expected it in the double digits.

But who knows.... the oddsmakers know what they are doing and we are underachieving in their eyes.

They sure do seem to know what they're doing most of the time! I expect a more motivated team to show up next week, but I can't see it being much of a game.

I know that few people get it - but once the original line is set the oddsmakers don't do anything but see where the money is going and change the line to get even money on both sides.

They don't go through the week and decide we are even worse - they look at MONEY nothing else once the initial line is set.

AND yes - since there are a lot of GOOFS on this board. I know someone who once was a booking, and good at it, and that is how they do it.

Yeah, but usually just for BCS teams. The NIU-UND game was too obscure to make a line for.

Gambling lines are not just about what they think will happen... the point is to put it in the middle so the book can't lose. Where people will bet on both sides.

I bet it's 10 or 11 by kickoff, especially if coach isn't there.

BetOnline has lines on some games with FBS-FCS matchups. Against North Dakota we were -24.5.

If Kill is gone, does Limegrove move to HC for the game? And if so, does someone else call the plays? I would feel pretty good about our chances if this is the case.
