Ive never been but I have friends in Laramie and Jackson Hole. The ones in Laramie are flying me to Denver for the Boise St. vs Wyoming game and im going to Jackson Hole before then. Any advice from those who have been on what to pack besides a camera?

Went to Moose, WY to church camp when I was a teen back in the dark ages......omg....it's beautiful there ! The Tetons are absolutely beautiful ! Have you ever been white water rafting ? Might wanna do that down the Snake river.....it's fun ! Take lots of pics !!
I've always wanted to go there HomeFry.... One day I will make it. Enjoy!
My friends work in the resorts around the park so we are going to the park all day friday. I dont knwo what else is on the agenda yet
sHoot yall gonna be near Cody we got room my brother got room. my sisters cute.
More film than you think you would ever need. It's a great place.
Yeah, it's wonderful. My Aunt used to live in Laramie. Definitely carry some warmer clothes though, I got cool at night up there in July.
We're headed that way (Mt. Rushmore, Little Big Horn, Yellowstone, Jackson) week after next so let me know how it is.
Beef jerky, in case you blow an engine on 80 in the middle of nowhere, sleep at the gas station/Greyhound station/firehouse/police station/diner/gang hideout(under the bridge type thing)/local kids hangout(all three of them) and they ain't got nothing but stale azz chips to eat cuz it's Sunday morning??????? Other than that Wyoming is a beautiful place, go see Old Faithful and leave the Old Grandad in Memphis. You won't need it out there.
Take some binoculars or a spotting scope. In Grand Teton National Park you will probably see moose, elk, mule deer, black bear and maybe a grizzly bear. There are some nice hotels at the base of Jackson Hole Ski Resort.

If you go to Yellowstone, definitely take warm clothes. In mid September or later I would say at least a 25% chance of some snow in evening.

Have fun

Been to all. Take your time. Snap way too many pics. See Rushmore at both day and night. Night show will blow your mind.
I've been to Jackson Hole a couple times Elk hunting. Absolutely beautiful. Soak up every minute of it.

My Dad used to do that with a group of his buds each year. We have all kinds of strange animal heads mounted ...we even have a bear skin rug of a bear he shot. He loved hunting and fishing.
Anyone going the northern route needs to start at Mitchell, SD, for the CORN PALACE, then head to the world's largest drugstore at Wall just after going through the Badlands National Park. Deadwood and the gold mine at Lead come before Mt. Rushmore(the Black Hills). After that, head to the Custer Battlefield and then on to Yellowstone. Stop in Cody for the Buffalo Bill Museum and head into the park through the loveliest canyon a man could imagine. Yellowstone is a great visit, as is the Tetons. Jackson Hole is gorgeous and worth a couple of days. In the winter, a snowmobile trip into Yellowstone from there is a must do. You will enjoy the trip. It is a gorgeous one.
don't forget to oil up your chaps............you don't want to chafe.
