I'm saying it. Gareth Bale is the best midfielder in England right now. Bar none. So far this season, he terrorized Man City's defense all game long, two goals against Stoke including an early goal of the season candidate, and two top class assists tonight in the first half.
BTW, i dont know if Bale gets the assist on the second goal or if goes to Defoe's left arm.
add another assist and a drawn penalty for Bale in the second half.

How bout the Zenit St. Petersburg keeper? He tried to make a save 10 yards outside of his box yesterday.
