Just played a hell of a third quarter against the Vikings on NBC. First completion was a throw he tossed 65 yards to Ted Ginn. He's been zipping the ball to receivers, reading the defense, and has showed he can run. We all knew he has the tools, but it's nice to see. Doesn't look like the same guy from the '08 MAC Championship.

Did he get much time in the first half? (that was the rumor)

It was mostly Alex Smith in the 1st half.

yeah, that 65 yard pass was sweet.
his foot or feet were on his goal line and threw it to the Vikings 35.
and it didn't seem to be one of those wind up and throw and hope it is still in bounds.
The accuracy was pretty good. He might have been able to lead Ginn a little more but all in all pretty damn good pitch and catch.
