Man charged with helping woman sexually assault teen girl
GASTON COUNTY, NC (WBTV) - A Gaston County man is accused of helping a woman sexually assault a 14-year-old girl.
Jason Douglas Cornelius, 31, is charged with sexual assault. He is also charged with indecent exposure stemming from an incident that happened on June 28.
According to Gaston County Police, Cornelius helped 21-year-old Tiffany Michelle Salyers, of Newton, sexually assault a child at his home in Cherryville.
Salyers is charged with two counts of sexual offenses and three counts of indecent liberties with a minor.
Both suspects were booked into the Gaston County Jail. Salyers is being held under a $100,000 bond. Cornelius is being held under a $200,000 bond.
