I might have to cheat on that one myself.
I'm not trying to kick a guy while he's down, but how can a senior in HS not pass these tests when they are first given to you as a 9th(? or is it 10th) grader? I forget how often you can take it, but if you think you might be a D1 athlete, I do not see how you can't take school serious enough to get eligible. And this goes for any HS student who has a chance to be a college athlete but cannot get eligible.

You can be serious as a heartattack and just plain not get it. Not everyone is college material academically even though they may be athletically.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the Ohio graduation tests are for seniors only.

No. I took them in 9th or 10th grade, I forget which one. You just have to pass it to gradumicate.

OGT's are first taken in 10th grade(think if u failed u could take them twice a yea afer..)....my grade was the first to take them for real('07), and i could have passed them with my eyes closed, they were easy

I was in the first class too. They were easy.
Some people are not good at taking tests.....I was one of them. I messed up the math entrance test for UT so badly that I had to take some beginner's math class my first quarter (yes, back then we were on quarters), even though I took a pre-calculus class my senior year in high school and got A's in it. After the first few days of this beginning math class at UT, my professor asked me why I was in that class......that's how easy it was, but I was never very good at tests. Classes I took that just had a mid-term and a final and graded just by those two tests, were a struggle for me too.

That said, you would think EJ would have had time to pass this test, but we don't know the situation either.
If Tucker doesn't pass this test he will not get a high school degree.

My wife is a high school science teacher and she informs that the kids get until their senior year to pass this OGT test plus one additional attempt the summer after your senior year.
Otherwise, you get awarded a 4 year certificate of attendance. No diploma. No graduation from High School. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.

I don't know if a student could go for a GED someday. Or how the NCAA views GED's for eligibility purposes.
